Creative Fields introduces students to advanced technology
Contracts were signed with the FSB Racing Team and with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER) for the Program “Summer internship“.
Zagreb, June 16, 2015 – The Company Creative Fields, Ltd., signed the contracts with Croatian eminent engineering faculties – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (FMENA) and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER).
By signing these contracts, the company Creative Fields continues its constant support to academia, in order to educate future generations and finding new prosperous employees. It enables students to involve at national, as well as foreign labor market.
dr.sc. Franjo Juretić, the co-founder of Creative Fields
The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER) organized the Program “Summer internship“, whose goal is to enable real working experience to the students, in their final years of studying, along with assigning the ECTS points for participating in this program. The students will get the chance to gain some professional skills while doing their summer internship in companies participating in the program. In the end, the goal is to make their search for the first employment easier.
We are glad that students can choose among various fields and jobs as a part of their Summer internship, so that they have an opportunity to involve in very interesting and innovative projects such as developing user interface for CFD programs.
doc.dr.sc. Hrvoje Džapo, the main coordinator for Summer internship program at FER
At the same time, at The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, Creative Fields cooperates with one of its student associations named Croatian Student Association of the Faculties of Mechanical Engineering (CSA-FME). A team of students, gathered in FSB Racing team, are participating in the international competition Formula Student, in which they are challenged to design and build a single-seat racing car in order to compete in static and dynamic events, which demonstrate their understanding and test the performance of the vehicle. Creative Fields enabled this student association to use their software cfMesh/cfSuite, in order for students to get introduced to this important part of automotive industry, which will help them to participate in the race in Italy in July.
We are very happy to sign this kind of contract, and therefore we hope to standardize the use of software cfSuite for computational fluid dynamics in order to get the knowledge base for future generations.
Josip Krajnović from FSB Racing Team, the Secretary of the HSA-SF
Creative Fields Ltd., a company founded in 2014 in Zagreb, develops tools for preparation of computer simulations of fluid flows, the most labor-intensive part of CFD simulations. The main characteristics of the products sold by Creative Fields (open source mesher cfMesh and the GUI application cfSuite) is a fact they can be quickly adapted to the needs of clients, within the interface which is easy to learn and use.
